Project Approach--Sustaining the Project

2hrs of in-service clock hours

This training is designed to have participants refine their observation, documentation, assessment work to date in efforts to sustain on-going project work within the classroom. The concept of web planning and micro/macro planning around concepts will also be used. Participants will share with each other and the trainer current ways they are using the sustain the project with children in their setting. The trainer will guide participants in efforts to continue to use their observation, documentation, and assessment pieces to base their planning decisions. Participants will be encouraged to share documentation pieces with parents of children in the program to gain their input to the on-going project work. Participants will create an Action Plan to implement strategies prior to the next training session.

·      To create an Action Plan to implement strategies used in the session
