Finding the Project Based on Children's Interests (2 hours)
Developing Questions of Inquiry (2 hours)
Sustaining the Project (2 hours)
Culminating Experiences to Conclude the Project and Sharing with Others (2 hours)
This 14 hour, blended professional development series begins with a 2 hr introduction to the Project Approach followed by (6) 2 hr sessions that go deeper into creating a professional learning community and reflective practice methods to support inquiry-based teaching and learning. The series is highly interactive. Participants collaborate and plan with one another throughout to reinforce strategies presented in the series. The overall goal of the series is to have participants become proficient with the approach to be able to identify, support, and sustain project work in the classroom. A certificate of completion will be provided to each participant.

This series has been approved by the Nebraska Department of Education for in-service hours. Other states may be approved (upon request).
