Project Approach--Using Observation for Documentation

2hrs of in-service clock hours

This training will examine the methods being used to further refine the use of the documentation in planning and assessment. The trainer will guide participants to align observations with assessment reporting systems as well as create documentation pieces for sharing with children, other teachers, parents, and the community. Participants will create Action Plans for using their Observation and Documentation for assessment and Project Approach planning purposes.

Objectives:

·      To examine current methods used for Observation, Documentation, and Assessment

·      To refine current methods used to be effective for use with the Project Approach

·      To create Action Plans for implementing Observation, Documentation, and Assessment alignment with current assessment systems and the Project Approach
